“Good Day Sunshine”

Good day sunshine,
Good day sunshine,
Good day ECP.
I need to laugh (no kidding), and when the ECP is out
I’ve got something I can laugh about,
I feel good, in a special way.
My counts are good and it’s a sunny day.

Yesterday Wayne’s blood counts went up.  Big deal for 2 reasons.  First, he did not need blood products.  Second his blood counts actually went up from the day before, on their own, which is even more incredible when you consider that ECP shreds (destroys) platelets. So, it would have been no surprise to see that his platelets were way down. But no, his actually went up. So what do you do when all the numbers are in your favor, you go out to play in the the sun, or at least some of your WBC’s go out to play in the UV light – ECP was moved up and he had his treatment on Wednesday.

  1. Wayne and Peeches! Holy crapoly! What a helluva time you’ve had. We’re so glad you’re doing better today and pray the trend continues.
Last week, you were both continuously in Phil’s and my conversation as we drove to Boulder, CO–so many England trucks on the road!
We miss you both and look forward to getting together soon.
    Love from Wendy and Phil

    • He just keeps on trucking!! And who knows, he may be homeward bound after a few more weeks “out on the road (hospital)” And then it will be great to see our friends. Love Peeches and Wayne

This ordeal has been so much more than anyone could have possibly thought it would be but you are two incredibly strong people and you will get through it. Please know that we are here for you, whatever you need.

    Love you guys

    • Bill and Pauline,

The road is traveled best with friends. Your support has made eased the burden of the trip. Hopefully, soon we will all be together, laughing and thinking back on the good times. Stories, stories, we will have some new ones now, can’t wait to share.

      Loads of love,
      Wayne and Peeches
